In the end...

Hi and welcome to my blog. This is post number 10... It's late by a day but I guess it's ok. It's Thursday night, 10pm. It's nearing the end of the school year. And end of years are coming. I'm gonna miss my friends that don't make it. But in the end, it doesn't even matter. I've spent a year of good times and bad. Well actually no bad times.... But nobodies perfect so I'm no exeption...

Well my revision is under way. I'm studying hard now. Gotta keep my head high. But I told my parents that I will do well and stay in HCI...

... And I promise , I swear....

We're marching on....

I've counted my posts , this one is number 9. And yet I'm still MARCHING ON!!! Ok after this I'm only gonna need one last post. This post, shall be my current science status. Well it isn't too good. With an MSG of 3.5 -.- I don't think I can keep going anymore. The best thing I can do now is hope for a miracle. May my wish of getting A1 for science come true (:

Well I need to off the computer to study now. Bye bye blog. I'll only write to u one last time ): but hey at least I finished my science e-portfolio...

The term 3 holidays ....

Well the term three holidays are here, but no slacking for me. Need to study hard coz
end of year examinations are coming. I'm hoping I get an A1 for science. Time has passes really. So fast and three terms are already gone~~ but I jus need to move on. I want to stay in HCI , so I gotta work hard , do my best , do my homework and all those other stuff Nick does. Oh and I've made a decision to stop all forms of dota until the end of year exams are over.

This seems like a very hard decision for many people in my class but I've decided to do it, and there's no turning back. Sure, there will be tough times, but I still have the support of most of my friends. Their support gives me the strength to continue on this hard , rough road. I just hope that my results don't dissapoint them.

Theres no time to waste...

Argh, Feel the pain ):

HELLO ALL WELCOME BACK ONCE AGAIN TO THR BLOG OF THE ONE , THE ONLY , ME XD . Now you must be wondering what this post is about cause of the nice title (:. Nonono I didn't meet with some accident ( so those wishing I was dead , dream on ). And no I did not torture somebody till he cried. Well being a pole-vaulter , I have to do pt ( physical training or painful torture as I call it ) , and everytime after pt my arms , my legs, every part of me aches and I'll be going :" Argh , pain ah!!!" well this time it hit me. No my head didn't hit the ground. I just went to research why so I could think of a way to make it hurt less.

Well for all your informations, it is actually quite , well actually very complex. Our human muscles need more energy when we exercise. And thus we do more respiration, but not just any respiration , anaerobic respiration. Thus with the increased amount of respiration , more lactic acid is produced. And well that bloody mother f***** acid is the thing that causes our pain.

Oh well , I'm not perfect :P

The best part of SE

Welcome back to my blog! Hahas this blog post will be dedicated to my favourite experiment of my term 2 sabbatical , Science Eureka. ( credits go to Denzel for giving me this idea, we love u man (:...). Well some guy once said to save the best for last, and since on the last day all we did was a stupid test , and that definitely wasn't enjoyable, that statement is false but.....

My favourite experiment was on the first day (: see they are totally contradicting XD. Well it was when me , Denzel , Yong Hong and Jun Hong teamed up to build a parachute with stuff we could find everyday. Newpapers , styrofoam cup etc etc.... I tool the lead and together , we built a decent looking parachute. After that , we launched it off from the third floor of the science lab block and with an egg in it and watched it sail down to the ground. Our egg was the least damaged ( actually it wasn't even damaged ) and our group was tied with another group cause thiers wasn't broken too. ( well not for long cause Jun Hong dropped theirs -.-)

Well in all the process was fun and we learned air resistence. Who knew science could be this fun (:

Science Eureka FTW!!!

Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahhahahahhahahahahhaaahahahhahahahahahahahahahahahaha!!! Well that was a lot of laughing and that was how it was like for my term to sabbaticals, SCIENCE EUREKA :D. By it's name I guess you should know that it's a sabbatical course that teaches us about science (: and the topics we learned were secondary 4 topics , according to the seniors in charge ( well u can't really trust them yet ). The course was enriching and entertaining at the same time. No it wasn't entertaining coz of the seniors, it was coz I was in this course with the best clowns ever, Mr Ng Yong Hong & Mrs Ng Jun Hong. Those two kept the class hyper by being ... Well in simple words , themselves -.-

During the course , they purposely did almost everything they were told not to do. Jun Hong spammed deionised water on anything possible and gave the seniors many many head aches. We joked with our seniors a lot and got to know each other better. We learned science , they learned to fear the power of secondary ones. (:

Well moral of the post, don't mess with secondary ones. :D

My results ):

This is my fourth month inside HCI... And well things aren't going that good... My results are detiorarating , and lessons seem to get more and more boring by the day. This is not good. NOT GOOD!!! Dear god, what do I do?

Its harder to pay attention in class now a days. The class is more rowdy ( thanks to my cousin Ng Yong Hong, credits to him) and it's harder to pay attention. I also can't cope with the stress my parents are placing on me. MSG < 2 isn't that easy. They think the world is so easy and life is soo easy -.- they should wake up. Self revision is also difficult now coz of the fact that I have no idea what the questions are talking about. I wish life was easier , or HCI was easier. Well anything goes...

Science - My aspiration

Welcome to my don't-know-how-many-th blog post this year. After reading the topic I guess you are probably wondering to yourself right now , " what the heck is your aspiration? " . Well this post is meant to tell you exactly that. Well for your information, my aspiration has something to do with medical sciences. No it's not being a doctor like all those other guys with the sharp knives. It involves animals. No I don't wanna grow up to become a mad scientist that experiments on animals trying to create a replica of king kong. My aspiration is ...

To become a significantly famiuse vet :D. Most people wonder why I want to become a vet. Well I want to be one coz of the fact that I think that animal lives are imporatant. Although being a vet earns a lot~ less money than a doctor, there are already so many doctors out there. One less wouldn't hurt. But there aren't many vets out there so one more makes a difference. I want to become a vet because I feel that animals are like humans. ( well technically we are animals but...) they have feelings too. They feel the same pain we do when we are sick. Why is it that humans get the priority to the medicines? This isn't fair!!!

Well being a vet requires my science to be good cause biology and medical science are involved in it... But I shall work hard!! Hopefully this aspiration turns into reality (:

E learning

By adding salt to the water, it created a solution which was denser then normal water. Therefore the egg floated in normal water, however failed to float in the salt water.

Science in HCI

This year , 2010. Is the first year of my life inside secondary school. My name
is Xavier Shee and I am now studying inside the Hwa Chong Instituition. I have realized that secondary school life and primary school life are 2 different things. And this is what my post is about. The difference between primary school science lessons and secondary school science lessons.

First thing that I noticed was that the science laboratory of HCI was of a much higher 'quality' than that of my primary school. Also, there were much more safety precausians than in primary school as it was much easier to get yourself killed in there. Also, we were also given a little teeny weeny bit more freedom as the teachers thought that we were more mature now. Although that is true for most , it isn't for some :P

The next thing I realized was that science lessons were much more complex compared to primary school ones. Although I expected the raise in difficulty , I did not expect it to be so much tougher. Well guess I need to work hard then ...

Well I guess this concludes my post. Blog more next time (:
